Metadata only

pdfhai removes metadata stored in image files. It does not remove or alter invisible watermarks embedded in pixel data (for example SynthID), and it cannot change how an image looks to visual AI classifiers.

No guarantee about AI labels

Social networks and marketplaces may detect or label AI-generated content using signals other than metadata, and many require users to disclose AI-generated or AI-edited media. Removing metadata does not guarantee that a platform will not label your content, and it does not exempt you from any platform policy or law.

Content Credentials

Removing C2PA Content Credentials permanently breaks the provenance record and invalidates its signature. Only remove credentials where you are entitled to do so.
