Privacy Policy
Short version: your images never leave your device.
Last updated: November 7, 2026
Your images
Images you select are read by JavaScript running in your browser and processed in memory (in a Web Worker). They are not uploaded to pdfhai or any third party, not stored on our servers and not used for training. When you close or reload the page, the data is discarded.
As a technical safeguard, the site is served with a Content-Security-Policy that only allows the page to connect to its own origin, which prevents the page from transmitting your files elsewhere.
Information we collect
- We do not require accounts and do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Anonymous usage counts. To understand which tools are useful, we count page views and how many images a tool processed, per page and per day. Only the page path, the event type and a number are sent — no cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers or file data are stored. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, nothing is counted.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we store your name, email address, topic and message in our database so we can reply, and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) to deliver and secure the site. These logs never contain your images.
Third-party links
Share buttons and the “View on map” link open third-party websites only when you click them. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
